Egzaminy TELC

What is a telc exam?

The telc exams are developed and administered by telc GmbH organization based in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), which has forty years of experience in creating and conducting language exams at the highest European level.

The advantage of telc exams is their comparability at a given level thanks to the identical test structure. Exams from level B1, for example, have the same format in all languages. The exam grades also have the same value. The exams cover topics from basic areas of life and are aimed at testing communication skills.

The telc exams were developed in relation to the scale of language proficiency levels included in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). This document was created as a result of experience and the belief that a common, united Europe can only exist when communication and understanding between Europeans is better. Due to the international nature of the labour market, it became essential to create a system and instrument that would clearly describe and classify language skills and competences in everyday life and at work.
